Mr. Giordano has worked in the securities industry for over 26 years. Prior to forming J Giordano Securities, he spent eight years as a general partner at Baker Nye Securities: part of a large New York investment boutique managing over one billion dollars in arbitrage and non-directional investments. His responsibilities included advising, managing, and implementing strategies for sophisticated individuals and institutional clients through the use of convertible and other related securities. Prior to this, his experience covers most functions within the industry, from institutional salesman to proprietary trader to portfolio manager. He worked as Portfolio Manager with Stockton Partners: investing in small cap stocks using an event-driven investment approach. Mr. Giordano started his career at Shearson Lehman Hutton, where he worked for over 11 years.
